Pen yr allt is situated off the A470 between Brecon (4 miles) and Hay-on-Wye (12 miles).   Area Map. Click to Enlarge.   Directions to Property: From Abergavenny take the A40 to Brecon and turn right onto the A470 north (towards Builth Wells) for 4 miles. You will come to a turning on your right hand side signed Llanwern and The Transfer Station, turn right here. Continue along this road and take the first turning on your right. Then follow the lane round to the left and Pen-Yr-Allt is at the end of this lane. From Hereford follow the A438 towards Brecon. After entering Glasbury, turn right at the T junction. Continue along this road passing thorough Three Cocks and Bronllys. Once you have passed the turn off for Felinfach on the right, just up the road you will see the turning for Llanwern and The Transfer Station on your left, turn left here.
